I got cash out of an atm yesterday and for some reason it was very funny to me to be getting a gazillion rupee notes spit out to me instead of three or four 20s. Everything here makes you feel better about yourself: you don't have $5215 available in your checking account, you have 212,545 Rupees! You don't weigh 152 lbs., you weigh 69 kilos! You don't run on the treadmill at 6 mph, you run at 9.6 km/h! You don't run 5 miles, you run 8 kilometers! My self-esteem (and talent for denial) are sky high right now. In India I AM AWESOME!!!
